Energy Saving Tips

Many choices we make every day can affect the amount of energy we use and in turn the price of our power bills. Here are a few tips to help you save energy and money:

Change your current light bulbs to compact fluorescent lamp (CFL) light bulbs. This can provide up to 75% energy savings.

To save on heating and cooling costs, make sure that your home is properly insulated and sealed to prevent heat and air leakage.

If you need to heat one room more than the others, don’t turn up the thermostat for the entire house. Consider a portable electric space heater.
